48 Residents of RT 11/09 Kayu Putih Undergo PCR Test

Total 48 residents of RT 11 RW 09 Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, underwent PCR test on Saturday (6/5) following mini lockdown on the area after it was discovered that 22 residents were exposed to COVID-19.

If their results are positive, we will trace the spread at RT 11/09

Kayu Putih Urban Village Head, Artika Ristiana mentioned, those 48 residents were suspected having close contact with 22 residents who were tested positive for COVID-19. There were 6 health workers from Pulogadung Sub-district Health Center who helped providing the test.

"PCR test result will be issued on Sunday (6/6). If their results are positive, we will trace the spread at RT 11/09 which is inhabited by 318 people," she conveyed.

According to her, East Jakarta Gulkarmat personnel have sprayed RT 11/09 with disinfectant using fire trucks on Friday (6/4).

Kayu Putih RW 09 Head, Lambertus Simanjorang explained, 13 of 22 residents who confirmed positive for COVID-19 were treated at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. While 3 of them were treated at Haji Pondok Gede Hospital and 6 residents underwent self-isolation at their homes.

"RT 11/09 has been closed temporarily or implemented mini lockdown thus COVID-19 spread can be suppressed as much as possible," he stated.
